Safes containing cocaine worth thousands of pounds were discovered when police raided a flat in Blantyre.
Darren Docherty and Billy Derrick were caught red-handed as they sat in the living room with bags of white powder and scales.
Docherty, 34, of Straiton Place, and Derrick, 25, of Morag Avenue, both Blantyre, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Friday.
They admitted being concerned in the supply of cocaine at Docherty's home on May 15, 2020.
The court heard police officers armed with a search warrant went to the flat around 5pm. Derrick's car was parked outside.
Chloe O'Hara, prosecuting, said: "The accused Docherty and Derrick were sitting on sofas.
"Officers saw items including scales, a cocaine-stained spoon and bags of white powder on a table in the living room.
"The men were detained and at this point Derrick said, 'everything on the table and in the safe on the floor is mine. I put my hands up. I'll take ownership of that.'
"Docherty said there was another safe in the bedroom and that was his."
The cocaine in the living room was worth around £1600. Bags of the drug inside the bedroom safe had a street value of £5100.
The two men were taken to Motherwell police station where they gave 'no comment' interviews.
Sheriff Thomas Millar deferred sentence on Docherty and Derrick until next month for background reports.
They were allowed to remain on bail.
