Tyne and Wear Fire & Rescue Service shared this footage with the Chronicle of the impact of a gas blast which ripped through an address in Roker on Tuesday.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at Whickham Street after the eruption at 3.45pm on Tuesday 15 February resulting in two men being rushed to hospital suffering blast injuries.
An investigation into the cause of a huge gas blast is currently under way as authorities get to grips with how and why this happened.

Housing association Gentoo has said that around 10 people have been evacuated from the eight flats on the street and provided with temporary accommodation while a structural engineer assesses the extent of the damage.
A crane has demolished the remains of the property amid fears incoming Storms Dudley and Eunice will cause further structural damage to the already devastated property.
The footage was taken by the service's own registered drone pilot who is part of its Urban Search and Rescue Team (USAR).
