Drivers warned to 'expect disruption' as works hit all Merseyside motorways

Drivers could face days of disruption as all of Merseyside's motorways will be partially closed this week.

Large sections of the M6 and M57 will partially closed this week for essential roadworks and Highways England has warned drivers to "expect disruption".

This week (February 14 - February 20) the M53, M56, M58 and M62 will also see closures on a number of nights.

Here's a list of all the motorway closures you can expect this week:

Monday, February 14

• The M6 southbound between junctions 23 (Haydock) and 26 (Orrell) will be closed from 9pm and 6am.

• The M53 northbound between junctions four (Clatterbridge) and five (Eastham) will be closed between 9pm and 5am.

• The M56 westbound between junctions 14 (Hapsford Interchange) and 15 (Stoak) and junctions 11 (Daresbury Park) and 12 (Warrington) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.

• The M57 northbound bound between junctions one (Tarbock) and four (Gillmoss) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.

Tuesday, February 15

• The M6 southbound between junctions 23 (Haydock) and 26 (Orrell) will be closed from 9pm and 6am.

• The M53 northbound between junctions four (Clatterbridge) and five (Eastham) will be closed between 9pm and 5am.

• The M57 northbound bound between junctions one (Tarbock) and four (Gillmoss) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.

• The M58 westbound between junctions one (Maghull) and three (Ormskirk) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.

Wednesday, February 16

• The M6 southbound between junctions 23 (Haydock) and 26 (Orrell) will be closed from 9pm and 6am.

• The M6 northbound at junction 21 (Warrington) will be closed from 9pm - 6am.

• The M56 westbound between junctions 11 (Daresbury Park) and 12 (Warrington) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.

• The M57 northbound bound between junctions one (Tarbock) and four (Gillmoss) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.

• The M58 westbound between junctions one (Maghull) and three (Ormskirk) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.

• The M62 westbound between junctions seven (Rainhill) and six (Huyton) will be closed between 9pm and 5am

Thursday, February 17

• The M6 southbound between junctions 25 (Bryn) and 23 (Haydock) and Junction 21 (Warrington) will be closed from 9pm - 6am.

• The M6 northbound between junctions 21/21A (Warrington) and 22 (Winwick) will be closed from 9pm - 5am.

• The M53 southbound between junctions two (Upton) and four (Clatterbridge) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.

• The M56 westbound between junctions 11 (Daresbury Park) and 12 (Warrington) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.

• The M57 southbound between junctions two (Huyton) and one (Tarbock) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.

• The M57 northbound bound between junctions one (Tarbock) and four (Gillmoss) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.

• The M58 westbound between junctions one (Maghull) and three (Ormskirk) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.

Friday, February 18

• The M53 southbound between junctions two (Upton) and four (Clatterbridge) will be closed between 8pm and 5am.

• The M56 westbound between junctions 11 (Daresbury Park) and 12 (Warrington) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.

• The M57 southbound between junctions two (Huyton) and one (Tarbock) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.

• The M57 northbound bound between junctions one (Tarbock) and four (Gillmoss) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.

• The M58 westbound between junctions one (Maghull) and three (Ormskirk) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.

• The M58 eastbound between the M57 and junction one (Maghull) will be closed between 9pm and 5am.

Saturday, February 19
