Road users travelling on a popular route between West Lothian and South Lanarkshire should please be aware of potential disruption in the near future.
A section of the A704 near West Calder, is set to close from Monday for a period of up to 8 weeks to allow essential works to be completed.
The A704 will be closed from its junction with the A706 and A71 in addition to a small section of the C28 from its junction with the A71 and C24 for carriageway resurfacing, renewal of all road markings and road studs, and the installation of new anti-skid surfacing.
The closure will be in place from 6am on Monday and is anticipated to last until 6pm on Sunday 9 April.
Local diversions will be in place.
