Drivers are being advised that access to part of the M53 will be closed this weekend.
The slip road at junction 2a near Moreton Spur of the motorway will be shut for the whole of this weekend. Drivers will still be able to leave the motorway at the junction.
However, the eastbound spur and slip roads onto both the northbound and southbound M53 are being closed so they can be resurfaced. It will be shut from 9pm Friday, September 23 until 5am Monday, September 26.

Motorway users are being advised to join the M53 from other junctions. As well as resurfacing National Highways will also be carrying out other maintenance, a spokesperson said.
There are other parts of the M53 closed. This is includes the northbound at junction 11 exit slip to M56 eastbound closure, this is closed from 9pm today to 6am Saturday, September 24.
