The RSA is addressing road fatigue this bank holiday weekend by offering drivers free tea and coffee.
Drivers will be entitled to a free hot beverage between 2pm to 8pm this Monday in participating Applegreen stores. People can say 'RSA' at the till in order to avail of the deal.
The measure was also in effect on Friday as the Bank Holiday Weekend kicked off. Dublin Fire Brigade praised the initiative on social media and encouraged road users to take part.

The majority of Dublin's Applegreen stores are participating in the scheme, including its petrol stations in Clontarf, Baldoyle, Inchicore, Celbridge and Santry.
The RSA has reminded the public to stay vigilant on the roads as a higher volume of traffic is expected this Bank Holiday Weekend. The group previously launched its 'Vision Zero' strategy, which aims to reduce road- related deaths to zero by 2050.
Recent figures suggest that 20 people have lost their lives on Irish roads since the beginning of January. There were an additional 156 road- related deaths recorded across 2022.
