Scottish drivers will be able to get £5 off their fuel when they fill up at any petrol station across the country, thanks to a new cashback deal launched this week.
It comes just as wholesale prices have started to fall by 20p this July, which was welcome news to drivers who have been hit with soaring costs this year.
According to The RAC's fuel watch, the average cost of petrol is 176.88p per litre, while the cost of diesel is currently priced at 187.42p per litre. And now drivers can get an extra £5 off when they spend £10 or more when they fill up their car.
The fuel deal is run through the website TopCashback and it will be available to be used at every pump across the country up until Wednesday, August 17, reports The Mirror.
The deal went live yesterday, Monday, August 8, and is available just as supermarkets across the country have been dropping their petrol prices in a bid to attract drivers.

How to claim the £5 petrol deal
Firstly you need to make sure you have a TopCashback account, sign up for a free account here. Then you will need to:
Spend a minimum of £10 on unleaded petrol, super unleaded petrol, or diesel at any UK petrol station.
Retain your receipt when you pay for your fuel.
Take a photo of your receipt that clearly shows the date, the fuel station name and fuel payment.

Upload a photo of your receipt before 23.59pm 17 th August 2022.
£5 cashback will track in your TopCashback account within 14 days.
