Driver taken to hospital after car flips onto side in crash

A driver has been taken to hospital after a crash in St Helens.

Emergency services were called to Birchley Street, at around 3.40pm on Monday, July 10. At the scene, police found that two cars, a Range Rover and Kia, had been involved in a crash.

Images from the scene show that the Range Rover was flipped onto its side and the airbags had deployed. Merseyside police closed the road while officers helped with diverting traffic and vehicle recovery.
