A driver went to hospital after suffering serious injuries on Stanningley Bypass.
Last night, at around 7.15pm, a vehicle is believed to have crashed into a lamppost. West Yorkshire Police, Yorkshire Ambulance Service and West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service were in attendance.
The A647 was closed eastbound with motorists suffering delays. The collision is reported to have taken place near the junction with the B6155.

We approached West Yorkshire Police for information about the incident. They confirmed the driver was taken to hospital for treatment for serious injuries. A passenger was also taken to hospital.
A section of the bypass was closed for several hours. The road reopened in the early hours of Saturday, June 17.
