A driver's window was 'shattered' on Sunday morning after a road rage attack on the M56.
North West Motorway Police confirmed a 'road rage incident' happened on the M56 between J8 and J10 at around 10.30am.
Someone had "thrown something" at a travelling white Mini One "shattering" the driver's window.

An appeal has been launched for anyone who was travelling on the M56 and who may have witnessed the incident.
North West Motorway Police said: "If anyone was travelling on M56 between j8 and j10 this morning around 10:30 did you see a road rage incident occur where someone threw something at a Mini one in white shattering the driver's window?
"If you did please call 101 for Cheshire police to pass on any information."
Taking to social media to share the appeal, many people were quick to comment their disbelief with calls for "more cameras" to prevent similar happening again.
