The driver of a car that looked like it had been "involved in a collision" has been arrested after testing positive for cocaine and cannabis, gardai have said.
The incident happened earlier this week when in the early hours of Thursday morning, Naas gardai stopped a car which had "considerable damage". The officers noticed it was being driven with two flat tyres and airbags deployed.
The driver tested positive for cocaine and cannabis and was then arrested.

Gardai wrote about the incident on their official Twitter page dedicated to posting driving-related incidents and traffic stops.
Sharing a photo of the crashed car, they said today: "In the early hours of Thursday, Naas Gardai stopped this car which had considerable damage having clearly been involved in a collision.
"It was being driven with two flat tyres and airbags deployed. The driver tested positive for cocaine and cannabis and was subsequently arrested."
In a separate post published after that, they asked people not to drive under the influence of drugs this bank holiday weekend. They said: "It is an offence to drive a vehicle without proper control due to alcohol or drugs.
"Alongside the Road Safety Authority in Ireland, we are asking you to help us make sure no one is killed or seriously injured on our roads this weekend. Never get behind the wheel if under the influence of alcohol or drugs."
