A driver was hurt after a car and van crashed on the M57, causing huge delays.
Merseyside Police rushed to the M57 's northbound junction four slip road at Knowsley following reports of a crash at 3.50pm on Friday, March 11.
Once at the scene officers found a while Ford Transit van and a Ford EcoSport SUV had crashed in the outside lane of the slip road.

The North West Ambulance Service were called to the scene as the driver of the SUV suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the transit van is not believed to have been injured.
One lane of the slip road was closed due to the incident, causing major delays on the Randles Farm Interchange roundabout.
Merseyside Police are asking motorists to avoid the area while they clear the incident.
