Shocking footage of drivers in the North West driving terribly has been shared by police.
Lancashire Police force shared a compilation of motorists driving illegally, with the most astounding footage being of one person driving the wrong way up a dual carriageway in the county. The video montage shows a number of drivers taking to the roads recklessly and putting other cars in danger.
The first clip shows a red Hyundai driving the wrong way up the outside lane of a dual carriageway and as result the driver completed a driver retraining course. The second shows a silver BMW ignoring not just one but two red lights on a roundabout.

The driver received a £100 fine and three points on their licence. The third clip shows a small black car cutting in close when moving into the outside lane of a motorway. The driver attended a driver retraining course as a result.
In one of the more shocking clips, while driving on a narrow road during thick fog, a car attempts to overtake a wagon which almost leads to a head-on crash. The driver of the black car accepted a £100 fine and three points on their licence.
The last two clips show two white cars cutting across lanes on the motorway in a bid to make the slip road heading off the carriageway. One was given a driver retraining course, while the other accepted a £100 fine and three points on their licence.
The video was shared as Lancashire Police showcased their progress in Operation Snap, catching dangerous drivers on video and slapping them with penalties. The post said: "You asked us for a way to submit footage of dangerous driving on our roads and we are proud to have brought you OpSnap. We wanted to share just a handful of the bad driving that has been submitted to us via our OpSnap video portal since its launch late last year.
"The portal allows road users to submit video footage of certain suspected traffic offences. These include careless, inconsiderate, and dangerous driving, not being in proper control of a vehicle, failure to comply with signs or traffic lights, crossing solid white lines and using a mobile phone illegally.
"This footage shows the complete disregard some drivers have for the safety of others. You can see that there are various offences taking place throughout the video, with clips showing driving the wrong way down a busy road, cutting other drivers up, drivers taking unnecessary and extreme risks, some of which narrowly avoiding a collision with another vehicle."
