Driver dumbfounded as traffic warden gives tickets to every driver in car park

A motorist has shared their amazement after spotting a car park where every single vehicle appeared to have been slapped with a parking ticket.

The driver in question has now shared a snap of the car park, which is said to have been taken at High Wycombe Station, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

Although the reasons why aren't exactly clear, every car in the picture has what appears to be a bright yellow ticket fastened to its windscreen.

The motorist remarked that the scene looked more like "the discount aisle in Waitrose" than somewhere to leave your vehicle.

Posting the pic via Reddit, the driver quipped: "Parking Warden at High Wycombe Station made his bonus today".

A number of fellow Reddit users were left equally baffled by the sight and began to post their own various theories as to what exactly was going on.

One person suggested: "I'm gonna go with computer malfunction. I bet they all paid via the app, but the warden's app hasn't synced properly, so he's gone all Parking Pataweyo on them."

Another commented: "Another possibility is that these aren't actually parking tickets. I've received some pretty creative marketing flyers on various cars over the years that deliberately imitated penalty notices. Although they never looked like this.

"They'd have to have quite a big marketing budget, though, to put them all in those sticky yellow plastic envelope things just for a car-flyer campaign."

This story comes after another driver, who'd parked their car in the snow, realised that they'd made an unfortunate parking blunder once the frost had all melted away.

Once the tarmac was exposed once more, the driver quickly realised she'd parked her vehicle right across two parking spaces. She'd had no clue at the time, as the snow had completely covered the dividing line.
