A woman has died in hospital a week after a three-car crash in Adelaide's north-west.
The 88-year-old suffered critical injuries at West Lake Shore when the Ford Festiva she was driving was involved in the collision on Friday, March 31.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the intersection of West Lakes Boulevard and Military Road about 12:30pm.
The woman, from Campbelltown, was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital but she died there yesterday, police said.
They said drivers of the other two vehicles suffered minor injuries.
The number of lives lost on South Australian roads remains at 42 after an earlier suspected fatal crash, at Happy Valley in February, was attributed to other causes.
Early this morning, a woman was taken to Clare Hospital after she crashed into a tree in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency crews attended the scene on Blyth Road, at nearby Armagh, about 5:45am
The 50-year-old woman is being treated for shock and a head injury.
Stolen car involved in pursuit
Meanwhile, road spikes were used in an attempt to stop a stolen car that led police on a pursuit through Adelaide's western suburbs overnight.
The blue Mercedes-Benz sedan was seen travelling north on Findon Road at Woodville South about 3:30am.
That car, which had been stolen from Burnside, ran over road spikes but continued along Port Road, and police are now searching for the vehicle, which has a registration number of S341CMG.
Yesterday afternoon, police were called to Orient Road at Kensington Gardens after a driver allegedly sideswiped a parked car then fell asleep at the wheel.
A 44-year-old Prospect woman was breath-tested and allegedly returned a reading of 0.289.
The woman lost her licence and will face court at a later date.
