A driver has died after a crash on the A4241 Harbour Way in Port Talbot. The 62-year-old man from Morriston was fatally injured in the collision at 2.40pm on Tuesday on the route's eastbound carriageway.
The crash involved two cars – a Skoda Octavia and a Ford Fiesta. A South Wales Police spokesman said: "Despite the best efforts of the attending emergency services the driver of the Fiesta died at scene.
"The driver of the Skoda was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The road was closed for several hours whilst investigation work was carried out, and we want to thank the public affected by the closure for their patience and understanding.

"We want to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or have any dashcam footage, or who stopped to provide assistance at the scene, or anyone who may have seen the manner in which either vehicle was being driven prior to the collision and who has not yet come forward."
