A driver arrested by road police in Edinburgh was discovered to be wanted by Interpol.
The motorist was pulled over by officers outside Easter Road, in Leith, on Thursday.
They were found to have no licence or insurance but further checks revealed they were wanted by the International Criminal Police Organization.
Police say a report will now be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
Police tweeted a photograph of the vehicle and said: "Reported to The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service."
