The driver was arrested for dangerous driving, disqualified driving, drink driving and driving without insurance, police said. At around 8am this morning, March 29, GMP Traffic tweeted a picture of the vehicle, sharing details of the incident.

"The driver of this cloned Mazda drove the wrong way along St. Marys Way, #Stockport to get away from #ZME44 yesterday afternoon," the tweet reads.

"After colliding with another vehicle the driver was arrested dangerous driving, disqualified driving, drink driving and no insurance. #fatal4 #RPU."

Police have confirmed that there were no serious injuries caused in the crash.
