A drink driver was clocked at 116mph on the M8 during a police crackdown.
Officers stopped the motorist near Livingston where they failed a breath test and were caught with cannabis.
It was one of 295 offences logged during Police Scotland’s nationwide Summer Drink and Drug Drive campaign from July 4-17.
The “intelligence led” operation led to 585 roadside breath tests and 152 roadside drug tests.
Police say many of the cases were reported to them by friends and family of the motorist involved.
Chief Supt Louise Blakelock said: “We continue to target those who put themselves and others at risk by driving after consuming alcohol or taking drugs.”
