A man who had drunk alcohol and taken cocaine crashed into a car being driven by a pregnant woman and then hit her daughter as he tried to drive away. Connor Eynon, 24, pleaded guilty to eight motoring offences including dangerous driving and aggravated vehicle taking.
Prosecutor Ryan Rothwell said the defendant, who was driving a white Peugeot 208, drove into the back of a Vauxhall Corsa waiting at temporary traffic lights on the A487 in Bontnewydd on February 24. The defendant, who had taken a white Peugeot 208, struck the back of the Corsa.
North Wales Live reported that the Corsa driver, who was pregnant, hurt her stomach on her steering wheel, the court heard. The driver's daughter got out of the Corsa and approached Eynon. But he "appeared to panic" and drove off, colliding with her right hand side, said the prosecutor. She was knocked to the ground and left in pain. She suffered minor whiplash and bruising.

The court heard that, in one of the collisions, the Peugeot's number plate had fallen off. When police were called, they traced the registered keeper - who was Eynon's mother - and went to her house.
Eynon, of Bontnewydd, answered the door, saying: "I know what this is about. It's my fault."
Police found he had consumed alcohol and a cocaine-based drug. He was nearly twice the drink drive limit and one and a half times over the limit for drug driving.
Gareth Parry, defending, said Eynon's actions were out of character and he was "immediately remorseful". He left the scene but he didn't leave the house, and he admitted his offences.
A judge at Caernarfon Crown Court decided by a "narrow margin" that he did not need to go straight to prison. Instead, he gave Eynon a 12-month jail term suspended for 18 months for each of the two main offences, to run concurrently. He also ordered him to do 200 hours of unpaid work.
The judge His Honour Timothy Petts told the defendant he had drunk alcohol and taken drugs then taken the "completely stupid" decision to drive.
"Unsurprisingly, consequences followed. You caused injury to a pregnant woman and, when one of the passengers got out to challenge you, you drove off and knocked that passenger over," he said.
Eynon also pleaded guilty to drink driving, drug driving, driving not in accordance with a licence or third party insurance, failing to stop at the scene of an accident and failing to report an accident. The judge also ordered Eynon to do 30 days of rehabilitation activity and disqualified him from driving for three years. He must then take an extended test.
