Seahawks quarterback Drew Lock was on top of the world after leading his team on a clutch touchdown-scoring drive to lift his team to an upset win over the Eagles on Monday Night Football.
But after the game, it appeared he had some trouble finding counterpart Jalen Hurts for a postgame handshake, and cameras caught his perfect one-line reaction at midfield.
“I guess he’s sick,” Lock said.
Leading up to the prime-time matchup, Hurts was dealing with an undisclosed illness. Lock, who is Geno Smith’s backup, got the last-second start because Smith couldn’t play due to a lingering groin injury.

The 27-year-old Lock finished the 20–17 win with 208 passing yards and a touchdown pass, while Hurts tallied 143 yards through the air and threw two interceptions. Hurts did rush for two scores, though.
It’s unclear why Hurts didn’t meet Lock at midfield after the game. But either way, Lock had a pretty good sense of humor about it all.
Seattle improved to 7–7 with the win to stay in the thick of the NFC playoff race. The Seahawks play at the Titans (5–9) on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
