Drew Barrymore has shared a decade-old throwback of herself and Tom Holland, whom she has described as an "incredible person" as well as an "extraordinary talent."
The actress, 46, took to social media this afternoon to recall meeting the actor, 25, earlier in his career - with him since becoming Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The E.T. child star shared a throwback of herself and Tom, taken around a decade ago, with her 15 million followers on Instagram - after having seen the photo on a fan account.
It showed a much younger looking Tom - who began his career in the West End production of Billy Elliot the Musical - smiling for the camera while sat next to Drew at a table.
He was photographed wearing a red jumper with a shirt underneath, whilst she can be seen in a black t-shirt. A subsequent photo shared in the recent post shows that this featured the first names of several well-known models.
She said: "I remember meeting you what was it? 2011? And I was so captivated by you. And I had just watched your movie and we were meeting about a project I was going to direct."

The Scream star continued in the caption of the post: "I truly thought you were the most impressive and incredible person as well as such an extraordinary talent."
She then discussed watching the actor - the star of the upcoming film Uncharted, based on the video game series - "grow up," with her listing significant moments from his life.
This included Drew saying that he had fallen in love with the "greatest" woman, Zendaya, 25, and being Spider-Man. She also referenced his appearance on Lip Sync Battle in 2017.
She further commented: "And now you will play Fred Astaire hopefully? There is nothing you can't and won't do."
The Charlie's Angels alum said that she had woken up and seen the throwback on a fan account dedicated to him. She said: "I didn't even know there was a record of this pic!"
Drew added: "It was like every time I see you, I remember this moment and now I have record of it too. I send you and your lady the very best! As always, I am cheering you on."
The post attracted comments from her followers, including Naomi Watts, 53 - a co-star of Tom's in the Impossible (2012) - who wrote: "He's the bestest and the sweetest."
