Draymond Green was asked to make his pick for Saturday night’s NBA-WNBA All-Star three-point contest between Steph Curry and Sabrina Ionescu.
“I’ve got to roll with Steph tonight, Sabrina,” Green said on the TNT broadcast while Ionescu was mic’d up on the court.
But why?
“Doesn’t it make sense?” Green asked. “That man made me a lot of money, Sabrina.”

Green has been teammates with Curry since the Warriors selected him in the second round of the 2012 NBA draft. The duo has won four championships together with Curry becoming the NBA’s best all-time shooter and Green doing the dirty work as a playmaker.
Green inked a four-year contract worth $100 million in free agency last summer. He’s made over $177 million and counting over his career, and that likely doesn’t happen without Curry as his teammate.
