Draymond Green is not a fan of Rudy Gobert.
The Golden State Warriors forward has never said it outright, but it doesn’t take a whole lot to read into his feelings about the Utah Jazz center.
As two of the best defenders in the NBA, Green and Gobert’s names often end up in discussions together, particularly when it comes to the NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year award.
It happened again Sunday during TNT’s broadcast of the All-Star Game, with the network’s usual crew broaching the subject with its latest signee. Green, who had a mic on the sideline, let it be known the comparison wasn’t welcomed.

It’s not the first time Green has taken a dig at Gobert.
On multiple occasions, he’s made fun of the seven-footer for crying after not being named an All-Star in 2019. The most recent of those times was earlier this month.
I guess I should cry too… no Charlotte? 😢😢😢

Green and Gobert were both named All-Stars this year, though Green missed the game as he remains out with an injury. The two are also widely considered the front-runners for the 2022 DPOY award.
Green is a one-time recipient of the award, winning it in 2016-17. He finished third in voting last season as Gobert won it for the third time, all in the last four years.
