The Golden State Warriors picked up a win on the road against the New York Knicks on Thursday night during their lone visit to Madison Square Garden this season.
After the game, during an interview with Bonta Hill, Chris Mullin and Festus Ezeli of NBC Sports Bay Area, Hill asked Draymond Green about the Warriors’ trip to the Big Apple, when things took a bit of an awkward turn.
Green, it turns out, wasn’t thrilled with some critical comments Hill made about his suspension earlier this year. Precisely what Hill said that upset Green wasn’t clear, but the 33-year-old didn’t shy away from voicing his displeasure about the situation.
“Bonta, I’m shocked you’re talking to me. The way you were talking about me when I got suspended, I am very shocked you’re talking to me,” said Green.
Draymond had some heat for Bonta 😳😳

Hill looked a bit taken aback by Green’s remark but attempted to push on with the interview, posing his question for a second time.
“It’s always a fun game,” said Green, clearly uninterested in providing a thorough response to Hill, before staring intensely into the camera for a few seconds.
Golden State picked up its 12th win in its last 15 games on Thursday, with Green providing seven points, 10 rebounds, and six assists.
