Draymond Green Appears to Take Issue With TNT’s Discussion of Heat’s Undrafted Talent

The Heat dominated in the first half of Game 3 against the Celtics on Sunday, running up a 15-point lead by the halftime buzzer. Much of their scoring came from players who weren’t drafted, including Duncan Robinson, Gabe Vincent and Caleb Martin, who combined for 31 of Miami’s 61 first-half points.

That trio is just three of nine players on the Heat who didn’t hear their names called on draft night. That tidbit was a topic of discussion during the TNT broadcast throughout the game, but their conversations didn’t seem to have sat well with Draymond Green

The Warriors forward took to Twitter to voice his concerns over the discussions surrounding the Heat’s bevy of undrafted talent.

“This undrafted player stuff is mad disrespectful to those guys. Them boys make a living just like everybody else,” wrote Green just before halftime.

During Sunday’s game, the TNT broadcast spoke multiple times about Miami’s undrafted contributors, even displaying a graphic that compared the scoring output of the undrafted players to the Celtics in Game 3.
