Dramatic pictures show car narrowly escape rolling into river after spinning off Scots road

A car narrowly escaped rolling into a river after it spun off a Scots road. Dramatic pics show a tilted white car stuck in a grassy area, just metres away from the River Don in Aberdeen.

Emergency services raced to Gordon's Mills Road in the Tillydrone area of the city at around 6.20pm on Friday, July 1. A multi-agency response was launched following the one-car crash, but there was nobody in the car when mercy crews arrived.

Police Scotland cordoned off an area of the road close to where the car hand landed and vehicle recovery is currently being arranged.
