Dramatic footage has captured the moment a car went up in flames outside a popular restaurant, forcing it to temporarily close.
The vehicle caught fire outside of the Henighans Bar and Grill in Little Lever on Tuesday afternoon (April 18) with crews called to the scene to tackle the growing blaze.
The restaurant, on Lever Street, announced on social media they had to close for around 20 minutes after the customer's car set on fire but confirmed that everybody was safe.

It took fire crews around 20 minutes to put out the fire as thick plumes of black smoke were seen coming from the bonnet of the car, which was parked outside the venue.
Thanking customers who intervened to try and help, the restaurant posted: "Thanks to all our amazing customers who tried to help and thanks to the firefighters that attended and put out the car fire. Everyone’s safe which is the most important."
A spokesperson for the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: “Just before 4.30pm this evening (Tuesday 18th April), one fire engine from Farnworth fire station was called to reports of a vehicle fire on Lever Street, Little Lever.”
“The crew arrived quickly at scene. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire. Firefighters were in attendance for around twenty minutes.”
