Stunned car passengers captured the moment a pickup truck veered up a banking and then plunged off the side off a country road in front of them.
The dramatic smash happened on Sunday afternoon in Dumfries and Galloway.
The footage was captured by people in the vehicle behind the Mitsubishi, with one passenger predicting the crash seconds before it occurs.
"He's going to roll this car," he says - and then the drivers of the pickup mounts a grass verge at the left side of the road before bouncing back onto the tarmac and then careering off to the right down into a field.
The vehicle also plowed through a post supporting telephone cables as it left the road.
The video emerged shortly after police in the area said they had recovered a pickup truck stolen from Dumfries earlier on Sunday.
