Dramatic images show flames licking the Edinburgh skyline after a fire in Blackford Hill last night.
The footage was uploaded to Tiktok and from very close range shows a large patch of gorse bush on fire.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were in attendance last night after locals rushed to contact them about the fire.

Edinburgh Live reported last night that a major fire had broken out on the hill, with some 21 calls going into the SFRS as residents across the city spotted the blaze.
The fire is understood to have been caused by gorse bushes being set alight, with the first call being received by the SFRS at around 6:25pm on Saturday 19 March.
A spokesperson for the SFRS said: “We received the first call alerting us to a fire on Blackford Hill at around 18:25pm on Saturday March 19.
“We then received 21 separate calls alerting us to the blaze.
“As a result one pump appliance was sent from Liberton where it successfully extinguished a fire that had broken out in a group of gorse bushes.
