Rihanna's ex-boyfriend Drake has posted a cryptic message following the announcement of her first pregnancy.
The songstress and rapper were previously linked following her break-up from Chris Brown in 2009.
And it seems Drake, 35, is struggling to come to terms with her exciting news as he took to Instagram to share a photo which held a mysterious caption where the Canadian star spoke of 'shallow souls' and 'nobodies'.
In the accompanying photo, Drake was seen peeping out of his Maybach covering his face with his hood.
He penned alongside it: "I've seen things that ain't on nobodies vision board or list of goals…I would go more in depth if I wasn't dealing with shallow souls."
The post came the day before his ex R ihanna announced she was expecting her first baby with boyfriend A$AP Rocky, with fans speculating that Drake new about the news before their bump photoshoot.
The baby news sparked a social media frenzy on Monday, with fans sharing their thoughts on the reaction of Rihanna's musican ex.
"Rihanna pregnant. Drake bout to drop the greatest album of all time omfg," joked one.
"I hope Rihanna’s pregnancy lights a fire under Drake! He’s probably in his feelings writing Take Care 2 right now," added another.
"Drake knew about Rihanna a long time ago. I now see why he hasn't even celebrated any achievements in the last few months. He been sad," speculated a third.
The couple announced the news earlier this week with glowing Rihanna showing off her blossoming baby bump in a bright pink longline Chanel coat and low-waisted jeans, with her baby daddy standing close by her side.
Fans of the pop star have been left emotional as they believe she manifested it all.
In the wake of her pregnancy news, one fan dug out her chat with a magazine.
She was asked: "Where do you see yourself in ten years' time?"
The singer responded: "That's a cool question. In ten years I want to have already started my family and have some businesses of my own.
"A fashion line, a makeup line, and I still want to be doing what I'm doing at a much bigger capacity - by the grace of God!"
The fan captioned the post: "14 years ago, Rihanna manifested everything in her life now."
Another Twitter user replied: "So happy for her."
"Words are so powerful i need to start saying everything i want in life," added another.
Rihanna also previously told British Vogue that she hoped to have 'three or four kids' by the time she was 40.
When asked where she would be in ten years, she replied: "Ten years? I'll be 42! I'll be ancient. I'll have kids - three or four of 'em."
