Drake Has Charted The Third-Most Top 10 Hits Of All-Time

Drake is back inside the top 10 on the Hot 100 singles tally this week with his new single “MIA,” which is fronted by Latin superstar Bad Bunny. The track debuts at No. 5, immediately becoming a serious smash for both artists. While the song is only the second to reach the region for Bad Bunny (he collected his first top 10 hit earlier this year as a featured act on Cardi B’s “I Like It,” which eventually made its way to No. 1), Drake has placed many, many songs inside the area, and with another success to his credit, he’s moved up the ranks and made history once again.

“MIA” is Drake’s thirty-second top 10 hit on the Hot 100, which now stands as the third-most of all time among all acts. He is currently just two placements behind The Beatles and half a dozen behind Madonna, who continues to hold the record for the most top 10 hits of all time.

As of last week, Drake could still claim to have charted the third-most top 10 hits, but he wasn’t alone in that ranking. He was tied with frequent collaborator Rihanna, as both artists had managed 31 top 10-charters in their careers, but now he’s passed her by just one track.

While Rihanna will almost certainly land another big hit whenever she returns with new music, Drake is collecting them faster than anyone else in history ever has, so chances are he’ll continue to put distance between himself and Rihanna in the coming weeks and months, and he may even pass The Beatles by the time the year is up. “MIA” is his twelfth top 10 of this year alone (which is also the most impressive showing in one year mustered by any musical act), and there’s no telling how many more he may place in the region before 2018 turns to 2019.

Here are all of Drake’s thirty-two top 10 hits.
