ICYMI (although we have no idea how you could have) Kendrick Lamar and Drake have been dishing it out for a hot minute now, and it looks like the Toronto rapper finally responded to Lamar’s brutal disses via a surprise album, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U.
The 21-track album is a collaboration between Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR and was released on Valentine’s Day.
Drake seemingly addresses Lamar in the track “Gimme A Hug”, where he says, “fuck a rap beef, I’m tryna get the party lit,” — implying that he’s stepping away from the beef (which the majority of folks agree he lost).

However despite this apparent olive branch made by Drake, the lawsuit he filed against his record label Universal Music Group (UMG) for allegedly boosting Lamar’s mega-hit “Not Like Us”, is still going forward.
Lamar’s diss tracks include “Euphoria”, “Meet the Grahams”, and “Not Like Us”.

These tracks also mention allegations of Drake being a pedophile and a predator.
Lamar also just headlined the Super Bowl’s Halftime Show, performing “Not Like Us” and staring down the barrel of the camera to say, “hey Drake, I hear you like ‘em young,” influencing the creation of multiple memes.
According to the NFL, the 2025 headline show was the most watched halftime show in history.
Drake was performing halfway across the world here in Australia at the time for his Anita Max Win tour.
During a Melbourne concert a few days ago, Drake altered his verse on “Knife Talk” (“beef is live, spoiler alert, this n**** dies”) to: “beef is live, spoiler alert, I never died”.
$ome $exy $ongs 4 U is available for streaming on all platforms.
