St George Illawarra back-rower Jaydn Su'A faces a one-game ban for his high shot on Cronulla's Dale Finucane.
Su'A was sent to the sinbin for the second time in a week as the Dragons lost 36-12 to the Sharks on Thursday.
The former Brisbane and South Sydney forward will be handed a one-game ban, but should he opt to fight the charge and loses at the judiciary he will receive a two-game suspension.
Cronulla scored their opening two tries with Su'A off the field in the first half.
Meanwhile, Sharks centre Jesse Ramien will escape with a $1,000 fine after a high shot on Dragons forward Jack Gosiewski and will be cleared to play former club Newcastle next week.
