After entrepreneur David Hawcock wowed the dragons this evening on BBC One's Dragons' Den, viewers at home might be wondering how they can get their hands on his unique pop-up games. The unassuming Bath-based businessman had the investors fighting over his "bloody brilliant" concept, despite the fact he fumbled his pitch.
He entered the den with his twist on classic board games - pop-up chess and row of four sets that could be opened and closed in any position, without upsetting any of the pieces, and could be folded flat to store on a bookshelf at home. Made entirely of paper and card, David explained his games have no plastic whatsoever and are completely recyclable
But he suddenly halted mid-speech, apparently having lost his train of thought due to nerves. There was an awkward lengthy pause until Deborah Meaden stepped in with some questions.

Thankfully, David's nerves didn't put the dragons off, with Peter, Touker, Deborah and Sara all making offers. In the end he struck deals with Peter and Touker, who got 10% of his company each.
But where can you buy his impressive games? David has a website for his company Infinite Jest, which has the two games - chess and row of four - he pitched to the dragons for sale.
A note on the website reads: "Following a rollercoaster launch on the BBC show ‘Dragons’ Den’ in January 2023 Infinite Jest presents the first Pop-Up Games titles. Sustainable, recyclable and plastic-free, these innovative designs pop up ready for your first move! Then fold flat to carry on somewhere else!"
There are currently three options to choose from. The 'Dragon's Den Special', which is a bundle of both games, is available for a limited time only, for £29.99, with shipping in early February. Meanwhile you can get the pop-up chess set on its own for £16.99 and pop-up row of four for £16.99. Dragons' Den airs every Thursday at 8pm on BBC One.
