Dragons' Den's biggest clashes aren't actually with the entrepreneurs - but between the staggeringly rich investors.
There were always going to be clashes with five of the wealthiest and most successful business people in the world cramped in one small room.
Most of the time the Dragons are delightfully friendly towards each other and recent series have seen an increase in shared deals between them.
Some of the Dragons even hang out together when the cameras are no longer rolling and have become close friends.
However, we do see the claws come out in the Den as they compete against each other to secure deals from the best pitches and they certainly do breathe fire.
But one of the tensest feuds has actually occurred off-screen - with Peter Jones and Duncan Bannatyne involved in a very awkward spat that culminated in a row over Peter's 'dead mum'.

Peter, who is the only original Dragon still standing after 19 series, was joined in the Den by Duncan for the first 12 of those.
For most of that time, the pair sat on opposite sides of the room but would occasionally throw the odd barb at one another.
But their first big clash came when the pair were doing promotional work in 2008 ahead of the six series airing on the BBC - with Peter taking a shot at his fellow Dragon to stir up interest.
Peter said Duncan was looking younger in the next series and claimed it was because the Scottish businessman had gone for a facelift in America.
"The egos and edge have really come out," said Peter ahead of the sixth series launching. "Probably Duncan's the worst. We got on a lot better, but you will notice each series he looks younger."
Asked if he meant a facelift, he added: "I'm saying he has been to LA and had work done.
"Put it this way, it is nothing to do with the water he is drinking up in Scotland."
Duncan, who had previously said he thinks there's nothing wrong with having Botox or plastic surgery, had been open about having an operation on his eyes bags and was open to having more work done.
But he categorically denied Peter's claim that he had gone under the knife to slow the aging process on that occasion.
"I haven't, I just look great because I use a lot of creams and I go to the gym," said Duncan. "It's just good living."
In a bizarre twist to the war of words, Duncan then accused Peter of going off to get dazzling new teeth.
His spokesman added: "He's jealous of Duncan's magnetism and wit."
In 2014, Duncan announced he was leaving The Den due to other business commitments after investing roughly £2million in schemes during his tenure on the show.
"I do not plan to make any further investments on the programme so thought it fair to offer my seat to someone else," said the health club mogul.
Their biggest clash happened just two years ago after Duncan had left the series - and it blew up on Twitter.
The pair had an incredibly awkward clash on the social media platform when Duncan made a joke about Peter claiming he was Dragons' Den's biggest star.
Duncan asked if it was Peter's mother who made the claim - but Peter found the remark "in bad taste" because his mother had died.
"Sadly my wonderful Mum passed away so your comment is in bad taste Duncan," replied an understandably upset Peter.
Quickly apologising and deleting the "flippant comment", Duncan said: "Sorry Peter, will delete it now."
Sheepish Duncan then retweeted several comments that defended his remark, including one Twitter user who wrote: "Schoolyard humour....probably an overreaction on Peter's part unless he is recently bereaved.'"
"And you meant absolutely no offence by that comment. Which is patently obvious to me, if no-one else. So if offence was taken, it was taken by choice. Publicly," added another.
A third begged: "Omg. Please don't crack on with this like @piersmorgan and @Lord_Sugar. I am sure that no harm was intended??? Sorry for your loss Peter."
Peter is still a very big part of Dragons' Den, having invested a staggering total of £5,983,167 in fledgling businesses.
Some of his most memorable deals include Love da Popcorn, Bare Naked Foods, Rempods and of course the mighty Reggae Reggae Sauce with Levi Roots.
While Duncan claimed he "probably broke even" with his 36 investments and decided enough was enough.
He said: "I remember talking to Theo Paphitis one day and we said it’s worth £100,000 a year – the publicity we get from it for our businesses."
The business mogul headed to the Australian jungle for I’m A Celebrity in 2015 and donated his fee to the Operation Smile charity.
Duncan took part in The Real Marigold Hotel with other celebs such as Paul Chuckle and Bond girl Britt Ekland in 2020.
