A Lanarkshire entrepreneur showed off his unique vegan alcoholic drink on Dragons' Den last night.
Former Sub Club owner Paul Crawford managed to secure an offer of £50,000 from business tycoon Deborah Meaden for his cocktail Panther Milk on the hit BBC show, but for 25 per cent of his company.
He has since revealed that their deal fell through off-screen, but his pitch created quite the buzz with viewers most intrigued to find out more about Paul's beverage.
The businessman from Cumbernauld says he has been inundated with messages since appearing in the Den with many wanting to now stock his product.
But did you know you can already find Panther Milk in Lanarkshire?
Angels Hotel in Uddingston became the first venue in the region to stock the 15 per cent strong vegan cocktail back in October last year.
The drink is made with oat milk and has roots in 1920s Spain where Paul tasted it at a festival in Barcelona.
It has since proved successful in Scotland through pop-up bars in Glasgow and now homed in Bananamoon in the West End. And it's available now through a number of pubs in Glasgow.
Panther Milk can now also be delivered and comes bottled in five flavours - original, mint, coconut, salted caramel and coffee.
Paul told Lanarkshire Live of his excitement on starring on Dragon's Den as he looks ahead to his invention's promising future.
He told us: "The experience was pretty nerve-wracking as you would expect.
"But the outcome has made it all worthwhile."
Impressed at the product last night, Deborah told Paul: "I think you are spot on... I think the name is great and I think this is very exciting."
After millions tuned in to Thursday's show, the profile of Paul's brainchild is surely now raised with many bars throughout the country expected to take on some of its stock.
But Lanarkshire locals won't have to travel too far to get a taste of Panther Milk...as it's at the ready behind the bar at Angels.
The hotel posted in October 2021: "We are delighted to be the first establishment in Lanarkshire to stock the vegan, sustainable and delicious alcohol fused oat milk cocktail, Panther Milk."
They promoted the drink ahead of the launch of their Halloween party celebrations last year.
The product was well-hyped on social media last night with many excited to hear about the unique beverage.
One viewer said: "Yup! He will make millions. Good call, Deborah."
Another added: "Can't wait to try it!"
A third posted: "I'm thinking I've just purchased a bottle cause it's a winner and I trust your acumen! Can't wait to add to the cocktail collection."
Meanwhile others told how they purchased bottles of the drink online whilst watching the show.
And another viewer said: "Looks great, I'm gonna buy some."
