Drag Race UK Versus The World finale to air tonight as queens battle for crown

RuPaul's Drag Race UK Versus The World is set to come to a show stopping close this evening as Baga Chipz, Blu Hydrangea, Mo Heart and Jujubee battle it out for the crown and the chance to record a single with RuPaul herself.

This series was a first for the franchise and has been a huge smash hit, with dazzling array of judges including Jade Thirlwall, Katie Price and Michelle Keegan.

Tonight will see the final four queens take part in a "Lip Sync Smackdown for the crown" as the eliminated queens will return to the main stage to see RuPaul crown the first ever "Queen of the mother-tucking world".

Speaking in an exclusive interview with The Mirror, Blu Hydrangea from Ireland said: "This isn't the final four I expected.

"I actually knew once Mo walked in that they were definitely someone to look out for, obviously Pangina maybe but I stopped her in her tracks, and I'd do it again.

"Jimbo was also probably a good contender for the final. If it was a regular season and it was a lip sync for your life format, I think the top four would've been myself, Mo, Pangina and Jimbo."

Mo Heart explained her excitement to have taken part in a first for the franchise. She said: "I think it's really amazing. I was here once before with All Stars.

"I thought that it was me and Monet X Change or at least me and Trinity and that was a goop for all. To be here again is just beautiful and amazing and I am just so honoured and thankful."

When asked who their strongest competition would be heading into the finale, Blu Hydrangea responded by saying: "Mo probably, Mo is the best lip syncer that is left out of the four of us, followed by Jujubee who gives good mouth.

"That toy lip sync probably the best of the season."

Drag Race UK Versus The World saw the queens eliminate each other from the competition, rather than RuPaul making the final call.

As the queens made the difficult decisions each week there was a huge amount of negative fan reaction online when their favourite queen was sent home.

On the subject of her shock elimination at the hands of Pangina Heals earlier in the series, Blu Hydrangea said: "I think people are so obsessed with the show, it's probably like football but for the gays.

"They get so involved in it and I think also because you get so attached to the queens' characters as they're telling you a story that is so intimate to them, that then you feel like you relate to them."

Jujubee, from Boston, has competed on RuPaul's Drag Race three times prior to this, and says she has had to put up with some intense scrutiny from fans of the show, even including vile abuse and death threats.

When questioned about the intense fan reaction, she said: "I've had some disordered eating in my past so to see comments like you're so fat you're so ugly, it brings you back brings you back to to high school.

"These comments aren't coming from teenagers they're coming from grown ass white men, which is really interesting.

"As a queer person of colour it's always been an older white man who's told me what to do, how how to dress and what to say that I'm too fat that my voice isn't good enough to sing."
