The Seahawks have been having a great draft on the defensive side of the ball with nabbing the top corner in the class during the first round, and they add another piece to an already stacked defense in Auburn edge rusher Derick Hall early in the second round.
Hall was super productive for a not super talented Auburn team, and was the leader of that defensive unit. Over the last two years, Hall put up 15.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, and 112 total tackles for the Tigers.
Hall will likely start right away in a rotation for the Seahawks, where his experience in getting to the quarterback and ability to hold up in the run may nab him a full time role early. With great core strength, a solid pass rushing tool box, and a motor that doesn’t stop, Hall projects very well to the next level.
