Daniel Jeremiah of NFL.com has just released his latest mock draft and as predicted, he has Ohio State receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. being selected early in the first round. Jeremiah is one of the most recognizable and knowledgeable draft pundits in the business and has a track record that is long and accurate, so when he makes a prediction it is typically close.
In his newly released mock draft, Jeremiah has Harrison joining the New England Patriots with the third pick in the 2024 NFL draft. In the first sentence of his breakdown he reveals that quarterback is likely the most desirable position for New England, but in this exercise he has Caleb Williams gone with the first pick and Drake Maye off the board at the second pick.
After those two gunslingers, there is a slight drop off in Jeremiah’s eyes and therefore choosing Harrison is the best need and value combination.
Marvin Harrison Jr. is 𝙎𝙄𝙇𝙆𝙔. Using speed and leverage to loose this DB with ease here, with a better throw it’s an easy catch for six (still was but the poor throw made it harder than it had to be) 🔥🔥 pic.twitter.com/3EGCSGPIpT
