Dr Alex George has unveiled two new tattoo tributes and opened up about the important meaning behind them.
The Love Island alum, 31, shared a photo of himself being inked with his 2 million followers on Instagram yesterday evening, alongside close-ups of the two individual tattoos.
The mental health ambassador got a heart on his wrist, to honour those who have died in recent years, with his own younger brother Llŷr George having passed away in 2020.
And he decided to get a tattoo of a penguin further up his arm, with the medical doctor revealing to fans that it represents the power of resilence and coming together.
He discussed the meaning of these tattoos in the caption of his recent post, which has received more than 60,000 likes on the platform and prompted hundreds of comments.
Addressing the heart design first, he explained to fans on social media: "[It] has always been a symbol of hope for me and reflects a sense of shared unity and togetherness."
Dr Alex said: "I got this tattoo to pay tribute to everyone who lost their lives over the last few years." He said this included patients he had looked after but also people he hadn't met.

Dr Alex - who became the UK's first Youth Mental Health Ambassador last year - added: "We will remember you."
His attention appeared to then turn to the ongoing conflict in eastern Europe, which has devastated communities this week, he as explained the meaning of his other tattoo.
He commented in the post: "With the terrible events of today it is an overwhelming reminder of the importance of sticking together in order to weather the hard times."
The TV personality said penguins are "incredibly resilient" but not due to individual strength - instead because these creatures "huddle together" to weather any storms.
He further stated: "They understand the importance of caring for one’s neighbour. That is what we must do now. Let's pull together and look after each other."
Dr Alex concluded the post by stating: "Remember there is always hope of a better day." A number of fans responded by posting penguin and heart emojis in the comments.
