On Saturday, a series of strikes and shelling in various parts of Gaza resulted in the tragic deaths of about a dozen individuals, according to Gaza’s Civil Defense and hospital authorities.
The Civil Defense reported that seven people lost their lives in an Israeli airstrike on a school located in the Al Shati refugee camp, situated near the northern coast of Gaza.
Meanwhile, Al-Awda Hospital in central Gaza disclosed that it had received four bodies and four injured individuals following a bombing incident west of the Nuseirat refugee camp.
In a separate attack, Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Basal revealed that five people, including children, were either killed or wounded due to Israeli shelling on a residential complex in the Jabalya Al-Balad area in northern Gaza.
The Israeli military has acknowledged its ongoing operations in multiple parts of Gaza, with the most intense activities concentrated in the northern region. This escalation follows intelligence reports indicating Hamas' alleged efforts to rebuild its operational capabilities in the area, prompting the IDF to launch a wide-scale operation.
