The campaign, which breaks in X Factor on Sunday, features Webb as a bubbly “minister of Christmas”.

“Christmas is our busiest time of year with millions of people visiting our branches,” said Pete Markey, chief marketing officer at the Post Office.

The campaign will air in shows including I’m A Celebrity and Emmerdale, as well as in social media and outdoor ads.

The ad campaign was made by agency FCB Inferno with media planning and buying by Mindshare.
