Police have confirmed that one man was taken to hospital after being hit with a glass during a brawl outside a pub in Bristol.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset police said officers took the man to hospital themselves after they were called to the Horseshoe pub in Downend last Friday evening, June 10.
Police are investigating what happened in the brawl, which erupted between several people in the seated area outside the Downe Road pub at around 8.15pm.

The fight was filmed by a passer-by standing across the road at the time, and Bristol Live reported on the incident earlier this week.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset police said they are analysing that video footage, as well as other CCTV to identify those involved.
"CCTV enquiries are taking place following disorder involving a number of people outside The Horseshoe pub, in Downend, at approximately 8.15pm on Friday 10 June," the spokesperson confirmed. "Officers attended and found one man who had been struck with a glass. He was taken to hospital by officers for treatment. Video footage of the incident is being looked at to identify those involved. We'd please ask anyone who witnessed the incident to contact the police on 101 and quote reference number 5222137436 to the call-handler," he added.
A spokesperson for the pub said: “Our team became aware of an incident involving a group of customers on Friday evening and we immediately called the police.”
