Doughnotts is gearing up to open its fourth shop in Nottinghamshire. The handmade doughnut company is planning to open a store in Gordon Road, West Bridgford.
"West Bridgford we’re coming!!" they posted in a job advert for a sales assistant who is "fun, outgoing, driven and hard working." The company, which started in 2015, currently has stores in Nottingham city centre and Beeston and a kiosk at Giltbrook Retail Park. And it's pledging "a lot of expansion on the horizon."
The doughnuts are made in a bakery at Linkmel Close, Queens Drive Industrial Estate in Nottingham. Standard flavours include salted caramel and red velvet, and there are ever-changing premium sweet treats, currently lemon meringue, cherry Bakewell and Guardians of the Galaxy. Vegan doughnuts are also sold.

Doughnotts employ more than 50 staff and also has stores in Leicester, Lincoln and Birmingham and kiosks at East and West Midlands Designer Outlets. News of the new store comes hot on the heels of Sexy Mamma Loves Spaghetti owner Edin Gondzic revealing a new opening - also in Gordon Road, West Bridgford.
