You might have heard about the horrific week that the Green Bay head coach Doug Gottlieb is having. But, in case you didn’t, let’s get you up to speed because this is so comically bad it’s almost unbelievable.
First, his team is currently on the wrong end of a multi-game losing streak. Then, he was roasted by Adam Schefter after the two exchanged words about a Michael Vick report. Next, he inexplicably called Division II school Michigan Tech “Nobody U” and suggested his team would win by 20 before losing to said school and extending the losing streak to eight games. After falling to the Huskies, he was absent from his radio show.
Per Michael McCarthy and Dennis Young of Front Office Sports, Gottlieb shared that “there was no time to do it.” That sounds very convenient (and like a bunch of malarky), but let’s say we buy his explanation. Gottlieb also expects us to believe that he wasn’t critiquing Michigan Tech by quoting the video of him on X (formerly Twitter) *checks notes* critiquing Michigan Tech. Yes, that actually happened.
Done with this crap. We scheduled up. Including Michigan Tech. No where ever, have I been critical of anyone on our schedule. Now, back to work. https://t.co/zfJcA8TlaO

Sure, Doug. This will clear up all of that confusion.
Of course, his explanation for unprovoked dunking on Michigan Tech was complete nonsense, and no one believed him. Here’s some reaction:
You called them “Nobody U” in front of multiple microphones and cameras Doug

The video clip you quote tweeted is literally you being critical of an opponent on your schedule …

Haven’t seen you take an L this bad since Schefter tweeted at you a couple days ago

When you say "back to work" do you mean the radio show or the basketball team
