Doug Fronk Joins Gersh As Agent And Senior Vice President

Doug Fronk joins Gersh as senior VP in TV literary department.

Doug Fronk has recently joined Gersh as an agent and senior vice president in the television literary department. Fronk brings with him a wealth of experience, having spent the last three years at A3 Artists Agency as a partner and head of television literary. Prior to that, he had a successful 19-year tenure at Paradigm, where he eventually rose to the position of co-head of the television literary department.

Throughout his career, Fronk has been involved in packaging numerous successful shows, including last year's 'The Company You Keep.' He represents a roster of esteemed executive producers such as Scott Prendergast, Julia Cohen, Jennifer Corbett, Dan O'Keefe, Kim Rome, Jerome Schwartz, and Andi Buschell, among others.

With Fronk's move to Gersh, his clients will now be part of the agency's TV literary client list. This development comes as Gersh continues to expand its operations, following an equity investment by Crestview Partners in 2023. The agency has been actively growing its team, having added 31 new agents since the beginning of the year.

In a strategic move, Gersh recently welcomed April Perroni as head of business affairs and Matt Andrée Wiltens as head of global corporate communications. Additionally, the agency acquired A3's digital and alternative departments in January, resulting in the transfer of 25 agents and 45 additional staff members to Gersh to form a new standalone digital business.

Notably, several former A3 agents have also made the transition to Gersh, including Jade Sherman, Alec Shankman, Keith Bielory, Mark Turner, Melissa DeMarco, Sam Schmidt, Marienor Madrilejo, Jared Thompson, Matt Sorger, and others.

This latest development with Doug Fronk's appointment underscores Gersh's commitment to strengthening its position in the industry and further enhancing its client offerings. The news was first reported by Deadline.
