It was a double swoop for Kilmarnock in March.
Derek McInnes bagged the manager of the month award last week – and he was followed today by his striker Kyle Lafferty who scooped the player version.
McInnes has been handed the Glen’s Vodka manager gong thanks to leading his side to maximum points in March – four wins from four.
And Lafferty bagged the cinch Championship player of the month award as his impressive form helped Killie to take a four-point lead at the top of the league.
A club statement read: "Kyle Lafferty has made it an awards double for Killie after being named cinch Championship Player of the Month for March.
"The Northern Ireland international helped play a big part in Killie’s magnificent March with assists and then a crucial double against Partick Thistle.
"The award makes it back-to-back prizes for Kyle who was also awarded the honour in February.
"Killie boss Derek McInnes was named Championship Manager of the Month for March last week."
