Birmingham law firm Anthony Collins Solicitors has appointed two new partners.
Steven Brunning has joined its governance and commercial team while Paul Slinger is a new partner in the construction team. The pair bring more than 34 years of experience in the legal sector to the firm.
In his previous role as legal and commercial director at technology company Inzpire, Mr Brunning advised on strategic corporate matters at board level and has more than 14 years of experience in public sector contracting and the implementation of technology.
In his new position, he will advise clients on technology, outsourcing, procurement strategy and design.
Mr Slinger is a specialist in dispute resolution in the construction and engineering sector and was previously a partner at Wright Hassall. He has been recruited to help lead Anthony Collins' construction disputes team.
His previous work has seen him assist clients to deliver construction and engineering projects on time and within budget.
Senior partner Peter Hubbard said: "Steven and Paul's combined expertise will be pivotal in how we continue to support clients.
"Local authorities, alongside those in the construction and engineering sectors, are facing fresh challenges as we move towards net zero.

In other appointments news, Birmingham financial services group Wesleyan has appointed a new customer and marketing director.
Claire Oldstein has more than 25 years of marketing and communications experience in financial services, including holding senior roles at the Post Office and MetLife.
She was recently chief marketing officer with The Openwork Partnership and in her new role will lead Wesleyan's consumer and business marketing strategies.
Abby Goldie has joined SimkissGuy Recruitment to lead its newly formed hospitality division.
Having provided ad-hoc consultancy to hospitality businesses for several years, the Birmingham-based agency has now set up a dedicated division for the sector.
Ms Goldie will lead the operation, bringing more than 15 years of experience within the hospitality industry to the post, having previously worked at Whitbread and Opus restaurant alongside co-founding an events agency.
Marketing and communications agency McCann has promoted Barrie Robinson to creative director.
He has been with the firm in Solihull for ten years and was most recently senior art director.
His career spans 20 years during which he has worked across a range of clients including, Vax, Warburtons, Harley-Davidson, Thomas Cook and Alpro.
Alternative lender Boost & Co has expanded its Midlands team with appointment of a new principal.
Rebecca Blaymires will be based at the firm's Birmingham office, which was established last year, and will focus on supporting the needs of SMEs across the Midlands.
She brings more than 12 years of financial services experience to the lender, having held previous roles at the Lloyds Bank and Wesleyan.
She is the second addition to the Birmingham team, following the appointment of Matt Vincent who established the office a year ago.

Claire Halle-Smith has returned to the commercial team at the Leamington-based outfit after initially leaving last summer to join Penningtons in Oxford.
She brings with her more than a decade of experience in both private practice and in-house and will work across Wright Hassall's commercial law team.
Her key area of expertise is data privacy, where she provides detailed advice to organisations on their GDPR obligations under the Data Protection Act 2018, alongside general commercial work.

Faye Summers, who joined UK Flooring Direct in 2018 as head of HR and people development, has been promoted to become the company's new HR director.
She joined the business, which sells a range of flooring including real wood, laminate and vinyl from bases in Hinckley and Coventry, after rising through the ranks at Phones 4U in a HR capacity.
