According to Lebanon's state-owned news agency, a double drone strike in south Lebanon resulted in two people being killed and three others wounded, including a child. A Lebanese security source has indicated that the drone strike was carried out by Israel.
The incident occurred near Lebanon's border with Israel, where a drone targeted a car, injuring two individuals. Subsequently, two individuals on a motorcycle who approached the scene to assist the wounded were killed by a second drone.
It has not been confirmed whether the casualties were civilians or fighters. The news agency has reached out to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) for comment on the matter.
This recent drone strike follows Israel's accusation against the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah for a rocket attack in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. The rocket attack resulted in the tragic deaths of 12 children and teenagers, an incident that Hezbollah has denied involvement in.
